Nashville In Sync is excited to announce its inaugural event, Nashville In Sync Fall Summit, October 24-25. The programming will be more focused and intended for those who work in the sync and licensing industry, and those with experience in sync. Some programming will be for Nashville In Sync Members only, and some will be open to all to purchase tickets!

WHAT TO EXPECT...
The Fall Summit will consist of 2 days of programming hosted at HOME in East Nashville along with Day One being available live + recorded Virtually.

Day One - Thursday October 24th - In Person + Virtually - 10am - 3pm + Happy Hour 4pm - 6pm

3 incredible music supervisors joining us, each from a different media forms: Daciay Quenah (Brands), Shannon Berry (Trailers / Promos), and Francesca Harding (TV / Film) for 3 one on one conversations diving into each of their respective mediums, and their processes.

Day Two - Friday October 25th - 10am - 12pm

We will have two interesting panels:

10am - 11am - A conversation with local, Nashville based Music Supervisors, Paul McPherson (TV), Aaron Mercer (Ads), Josh Lieb (Video Games / Ads) on artist discovery, finding and using indie/emerging talent and the impact + difference of being in Nashville vs. elsewhere.

11am - 12pm - A Town Hall style conversation with a few NIS board members + local sync professionals discussing today's climate in the sync industry, budget restraints, artist discovery, and more.

Daciay Quenah

With over 12 years of advertising and creative strategy experience, Daciay has always had a deep admiration for the magic created when visuals meet the perfect song. She’s sharpened her musical chops through vocal performance & the obsessive consumption of all genres of music. Currently at Good Ear Music Supervision, her love of the craft has grown while working on ads for brands such as Google, Amazon, Genesis, and Expedia.
Shannon Berry

Shannon Berry is the Director of Music at Lussier, an entertainment marketing agency based in Burbank, CA. A graduate of Berklee College Of Music Class of ’11, Shannon started working in entertainment marketing in 2016 at X/AV, specializing in film trailers. Since then, she has collaborated on a wide range of marketing campaigns with studios, streamers and network television clients such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Apple+, Netflix, MAX and ABC. She is thrilled to be a part of this inaugural Nashville In Sync event.
Francesca Harding

Francesca is a music supervisor, DJ and radio host based in Southern California. After several years in the advertising space working on marketing campaigns for studios such as Marvel, Pixar and Netflix, she pivoted to long-form media and has been working at Yay Team since 2021.
Francesca has music supervised for 911 S6 (FOX) and S7 (ABC), Grotesquerie (FX), American Horror Story S12 (FX) and High School Musical, The Musical, The Series S3 (Disney+), to name a few. She’s also been on the music teams for The Patient (FX), Monarch (FOX), and Big Mouth S6 & S7 (Netflix).
Paul McPherson

Originally from San Diego, Paul earned his undergraduate degree in Music Industry from the University of Southern California followed by his master’s degree in Music Business from New York University. Paul has spent the past 15+ years working in the music licensing community as a licensing assistant at Universal Pictures, Music Coordinator at Cutting Edge Music Group, and Manager of Licensing at RCA Records. Paul is currently an integral part of the music team at American Idol, working on all aspects of music clearance and logistics.
Aaron Mercer

Co-president of Premier Music Group - embodies nearly 25 years of experience at the highest levels of music supervision and licensing across all media. Prior to joining Premier, Aaron helped build an industry leader for music supervision (Wool & Tusk), led the film & TV licensing department of the largest music publisher in the world (Sony Music Publishing), and spent six years with performing rights organization BMI. His music initiatives number over 20,000, overseeing the music for projects for brands around the world including Samsung, Starbucks, Target, ESPN, Yeti, Mercedes, and AmEx. Aaron's work has been honored with multiple Cannes Lions and Clio Awards over the years, most notably for his contributions to MGM Resorts' critically-acclaimed Universal Love project, and several music-based awareness initiatives for the students and survivors of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Josh Lieb handles music licensing needs for video games, brands, and advertisers at Mayflower Entertainment. Mayflower works with various global brands, gaming companies and their agencies on music licensing/supervision and talent procurement - their clients include brands like Instacart, Popeyes, ZipRecruiter, Gucci, Virgin Voyages, Ralph Lauren and many more.

Previously Josh worked at Bank Robber Music and The Royalty Network, pitching music and clearing sync requests on behalf of independent labels and publishing clients for over half a decade. A recent Nashville transplant from NYC, Josh got his start in the music industry booking shows at a DIY venue in his basement to support touring and local bands. He is a frequent concertgoer and is passionate about finding creative ways to showcase songs from both current and legacy artists.
